TODAY is the 7th or 8th day of CNY, so erm, YAYYYY~! Anyway, this year Chinese New Year is no longer a really big deal to me. Not too sure is it because I'm getting less childish or because the 'FEEL' for it has faded, nevertheless, I still celebrated it with *DRUM ROLLING*, MY FAMILY :D, and only with them.. We had the first steamboat in our house on the eve, with cousins aunts and uncles plus grandparents, it was FREAKING SUPER DUPER DIPPY AWESOMEEEEE! LOADS OF MEAT, FISH BALLS, CABBAGE, FISH MAW AND THE SOUP STOCK WAS THE BEST! I wish I had taken some photographs but there isn't any, except for one, with my cousin. On the 3rd day, we went for visiting :) I FINALLY SAW MY BABY GOD-COUSIN. She is the cutest,most lovable babygirl <3 can't stop thinking of her. That day was also the day of the second steamboat, but this time prepared by my ahma, it was alright.. For me, the MOST memorable CNY food was probably the "Special" yu sheng. instead of the normal weird sour bitter 'pregnancy' type of sauces and preserved veges, my aunt actually bought fruits and subsitute with it. Surprisingly it was nice. A picky raw food consumer like me, love it so much and could not stop eating those fruits, abalone, and keropok. After all the eating, we sat down to watch the news, which is also the "loner time", since my whole family neither drink nor gamble, and the generation gap between my cousins and I are far apart, is hard for us to talk, cept for Wanjun. HOWEVER, this time we actually sat down and play the most most most budget way of PICTURE-NARY (using paper and pen, and names think by ourselves) It last longer than expected though it was really awkward. In the end, Wanjun and Wanjing, decided to camwhore, before we leave for home. Frankly speaking, I think this year reunion dinner is much much better than the previous years, maybe cause I dare to voice out? or something weird happen? But overall, it was not too bad, got improvement :D
